— Fire Door Surveying

One surveyor. Every measurement. Full accountability.

BlazeBarrier is a specialist practice built on a single principle: every inspection is signed, every finding is evidenced, and every report closes the compliance checklist.

Specialist knowledge, direct responsibility

BlazeBarrier was founded to address a gap in the market: property teams needing rigorous, certifiable fire door assessments without routing through generalist building surveyors.

Qualified to current BS 8214 and BS EN 1634 standards, with hands-on experience across office blocks, residential blocks, hospitals, and mixed-use commercial premises throughout the UK and EU.

There is no account manager between you and the report. The surveyor who measures is the surveyor who signs.

+ How We Work

Systematic inspection, documented findings

Each survey follows a fixed protocol: gap tolerances measured at every edge, hardware inspected against manufacturer specification, intumescent seals and cold smoke seals assessed in place.

The report identifies each door by location reference, records pass or fail against each criterion, and where remediation is required, states the specific defect and relevant standard. No vague summaries.
